Just read a wonderful short "A Stone Woman" from her collection "Little Black Book of Stories and was completely won over. Any suggestions as to which other books by her to pick up?

Possession. I thought it was very good. Took a bit to get into, but worth it.

She came to town here at the museum and read exerpts from A Stone Woman. It was fantastic!!!

I enjoyed her novel Still Life. Lots of references to the romantic poets!

Possession...I agreed with Booker. For once.... went and bought a jet brooch after reading it. Soppy sod.

See now, I've been passing up Possession owing to its romance fame. I've been reading short stories and that is how I came to her.

Yeah....I'm not normally one for the romantic thang.
I'm a bit sad and try to read booker winners and a couple off each short list....
just to try a different author and get out of my comfort zone,
that's how I ended up reading it!
